Some years ago, a plan wished by Pierre Rousseau, the Mayor of the village was born : the creation of the "Garden of Lovers" of which gardeners will be couples, communities and french departments.
By offering a tree to the garden, they enable Saint-Valentin to play fully its role of the garden for all the lovers from France and everywhere.

So, over four hectares edged with adventure playgrounds, lovers and nature friends can go for a walk among various species and chiping of birds.
Through twinings, our friends from Sakuto-Cho in  Japan and those from Saint-Valentin in Austria have already come.
The village has also welcomed US veterans settled in the Chateauroux base from 1952 to 1967.
